2024 NATIONAL LITERACY AWARDS (NLA) OUTSTANDING LGU CATEGORY PREPARATORY MEETING

Personnel of this station together with the department heads of LGU Pugo, DepEd, MDRRMO, and MSWD attended the Preparatory Meeting for the 2024 National Literacy Awards Outstanding LGU Category (4th-6th Class Municipality) at the Office of the Municipal Mayor (Conference Hall), Pugo, La Union. The National Literacy Awards (NLA) intends to acknowledge the achievements of Local Government Units (LGUs) and non-government organizations (NGOs) in promoting, advocating, and contributing to advancing literacy in their respective communities through the implementation of exemplary community-based literacy programs and intervention.

Personnel of this station provided assistance in repacking relief goods and in the distribution of relief packs to different barangays affected by the onslaught of Tropical Depressions "Carina", initiated by the Local Government of Pugo, headed by our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Kurt Walter M. Martin, and in coordination with MDRRMO and MSWD.
