Proof there's hope.. always :)

This patient came to our clinic because of depression after pimple injection done at a different clinic. You can see the marked atrophy the injection caused.

Now this can really be bothersome that's why we acted fast. Combination treatment composed of flushing, subcision and injectable biostimulators was done.

After 2 sessions, it's like it never happened ;)

Sadly, this is how medical care is being valued nowadays.

I get it. In an ideal world, health care is free. And as doctors, we are one with this vision.

But we all got to live. We have families to take care of and bills to pay.

It takes 10-12 years after college graduation to produce a doctor. Please do not devalue our worth by saying "Pwede na shoutout, Doc".

Myth: You cannot have any dermatologic procedures for acne scars while on oral isotretinoin.

Truth: Acne scars are best treated as soon as possible, even while on oral isotretinoin.

According to the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery Guidelines Task Force, there is insufficient evidence to delay treatment with non-ablative fractional lasers for patients currently or recently finished with isotretinoin. This goes for other procedures like superficial chemial peels, hair removal laser and vascular lasers.
