Ano nga ba ang "tongue tie"? Lahat po ba ng tongue tie ay kailangan ma operahan? Nakaka apekto ba ito sa pagsasalita ng anak ko?

Lahat ng mga tanong tungkol sa tongue tie ay masasagot ng inyong ENT doctor. Magpa konsulta sa inyong pediatric ENT kung ang tongue tie ay nakaka apekto sa pagpa dede, pag kain o paglunok o sa pananalita ng inyong anak.

What Is a Tongue-Tie (Ankyloglossia)?

Tongue-tie occurs when the tissue connecting the tongue to the mouth (lingual frenulum) is too short or tight, limiting movement.

It may affect:
🔸 Breastfeeding
🔸 Speech
🔸 Oral hygiene

Treatment may involve a simple procedure called frenotomy, if needed.

🍬FOREIGN BODY SA MGA BATA🍬

Bantayan ang ating mga anak laban sa mga foreign body na pwedeng pumasok sa daanan ng hangin o pwedeng sumabit sa daanan ng pagkain. Pumunta agad sa pinakamalapit na ospital na merong ENT kung mangyari man po ito.

We should watch out for foreign bodies, especially in younger children, that may lodge into their airway or that may get stuck in their digestive tract. Please bring them to the nearest hospital with an ENT if ever this happens.
