The Veterans Memorial Medical Center has entered the Hall of Fame distinction by the Department of Health โ€“ Metro Manila Center for Health Development (DOH-MMCHD) during the Mother - Baby Friendly Health Facility Initiative (MBFHFI) Awards 2025, held last August 20 at Hotel Lucky Chinatown, Binondo, Manila.

This recognition highlights VMMCโ€™s sustained excellence in protecting, promoting, and supporting breastfeeding and mother-baby-friendly practices in line with the Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding by World Health Organization (WHO) and UNICEF.
