At Aphrodite Clinic, we are committed to providing safe, ethical, and appropriate care for every patient.

In cases where an ENT specialist is not immediately available, an experienced General Physician (GP) may perform an initial assessment and basic management for minor ENT concerns.

✔ Our GP (also a Board-certified Cosmetic Surgeon) has over 5 years of clinical experience in handling common, non-complex ENT cases
✔ All moderate to severe or specialized cases are properly referred to our ENT specialist
✔ We ensure that every patient receives the right level of care at the right time

A GP in the Philippines can absolutely check and treat common Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) concerns.
GPs are equipped to handle initial assessments, diagnose common infections, and provide treatment for minor or acute ENT issues, acting as the first line of care before referring to a specialist if necessary.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐆𝐏 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 (𝐄𝐍𝐓)
- Ear: Minor ear infections (swimmer's ear), earwax buildup, and general earaches.
- Nose: Common colds, sinus infections, and mild allergies.
- Throat: Sore throats, tonsillitis, and common coughs.

𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐞𝐞 𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 (𝐎𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐲𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭)
You should see an ENT specialist in the Philippines if the GP's treatment does not resolve the issue, or for the following reasons:
- Chronic or Persistent Issues: Symptoms lasting longer than two weeks, such as chronic sinusitis or long-term nasal congestion.
- Severe Hearing Loss: Noticeable reduction in hearing or persistent ringing in the ears (tinnitus).
- Balance Issues: Vertigo, dizziness, or recurring dizziness.
- Structural Issues/Surgical Need: Nasal polyps, a deviated septum, chronic tonsillitis requiring surgery, or severe snoring/sleep apnea.
- Voice/Swallowing Problems: Hoarseness that does not go away, or difficulty swallowing (dysphagia).

Your safety and proper diagnosis will always come first.

For concerns requiring specialist care, rest assured you will be endorsed to a board-certified ENT physician.
