Ngayong Agosto, ating ipinagdiriwang ang Linggo ng Kabataan. Sa bawat kabataang may matatag na mental health, nabubuo ang mas maliwanag na kinabukasan. Alagaan natin ang kanilang mental health, upang sila’y maging handa sa hamon ng buhay at maging matatag na haligi ng ating lipunan. Sapagkat sa malusog na isip, nagsisimula ang matatag na kabataan!🙂

Binabati ng National Children's Hospital ang Philippine Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics (PSDBP) sa matagumpay na pagdaraos ng parent training webinar na pinamagatang "Building Strong Foundations: Practical Parenting Strategies to Support Development, Behavior and Emotional Well-being from Early Childhood Onwards", bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng kanilang Silver Anniversary. Ang programang ito ay nagbigay ng mahahalagang kaalaman at praktikal na gabay para sa mga magulang, tagapag-alaga, health professionals, at allied health practitioners para suportahan ang debelopment ng bawat bata.

Ang programang ito ay pinangunahan ng PSDBP Committee on Continuing Professional Development (CPD) sa pamumuno ng isa sa ating mga Neurodevelopmental consultant dito sa NCH na si Dr. Florita Yambao-dela Cruz, katuwang ang kanyang masigasig na team, si Dr. Leanith Agustin-Haya, isa ring neurodevelopmental pediatrician na nagsilbing moderator, at ng mga speakers na kilalang eksperto sa kani-kanilang larangan:
si Dr. Erik Estrada, isang Neurodevelopmental Pediatrician;
si Teacher Lady Suarez, isang Occupational Therapist;
si Teacher Suselyn Pascual, isang Speech and Language Pathologist;
at si Dr. Elham Bocalbos, isang Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist.

Nagagalak kaming makita ang lahat ng magulang, tagapag-alaga, at mga propesyonal na nakiisa at sumuporta sa programang ito.

Magandang Araw!

Hinihikayat namin ang lahat ng mga magulang at tagapag-alaga na sumali sa ikalawang module ng aming libreng workshop na pinamagatang: "Mga Gabay at Tagubilin: A Training Workshop for Parents and Families of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder – Module 2"

Ito ay gaganapin sa darating na July 30, 2025 (Wednesday), 9AM-11AM via Zoom at Facebook Live.

Makakasama natin ang mga eksperto na sina Teacher Carlie Ytac, isang Occupational Therapist; Teacher Mariel Martinez, isang Speech Therapist; at Teacher Jeff Balila, isang Reading Clinician. Magbabahagi sila ng mahahalagang kaalaman at praktikal na gabay kung paano mas mapapalago at masuportahan ang pag-unlad ng mga batang may Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Sa pagdiriwang ng National Disability Rights Week ngayong Hulyo 17-23, sinusuportahan ng National Children’s Hospital ang pantay na karapatan at oportunidad para sa mga Persons with Disability (PWD).

Alamin ang mga benepisyo at serbisyong nakalaan para sa kanila — higit pa sa PWD ID, may diskwento, trabaho, PhilHealth coverage, at iba pa!

Sama-sama nating itaguyod ang inklusibong serbisyo at pagkalinga para sa lahat. 💚💚💚
