Our regular Face-2-Face clinics at the National Kidney & Transplant Institute and the Capitol Medical Center will be on leave for the Holiday Season until Thursday, January 3, 2025 which will be at the Capitol Medical Center. Regular clinic schedule will resume then.

In the meantime, our teleconsult system will be available for pre-booking on December 26, 27, 30, and January 2 from 11am onwards. Slots are limited, and final schedule will be subject to change.

Three Cheers to Brod Genlinus Dator Yusi, MD, MMHoA, DPBU, FPUA, FPCS Φ1987 for being the new Chairman of the Philippine Board of Urology!

Brod Gene has served in multiple leadership roles, at the National Kidney & Transplant Institute, were he has served for almost 30 years. He is currently the Chief Information Officer, Data Privacy Officer and Dept Manager of the Management Services Department which under its aegis include the Strategy Management Division, Patient Information Office and the Management Information Services Division (IT Division). He was the former Chairman of the Department of Urology. He has been a member of the Board of Trustees of the Philippine Board of Urology for the past 7 years and is now the Chairman. Beyond his medical practice, he is passionate about medical and non-medical education, dedicating much time to teaching as an Assistant Professor of the San Beda University College of Medicine also for almost 30 years now, and regular speaking engagements and health lectures on a wide variety of topics, including urinary stones, benign and malignant prostate conditions, and erectile dysfunction.

Congratulations Brod! May you always uphold and exemplify the pillar of PHI Leadership!

Everyone is excited/worried about . I may be using it wrong, but results like this show that for high-level medical/academic questions, it gives layman level answers that are useless for specialists and actual and point-of-care use… unlike professional services like uptodate.com.
