Every 25th day of September, We celebrate World Lung Day
to highlight lung health, raise awareness about respiratory diseases, and advocate for cleaner air and better lung health worldwide. The day emphasizes taking practical steps for lung health, including avoiding smoking, improving air quality, and receiving appropriate vaccinations, and serves as a platform for global experts to discuss advancements and challenges in lung health.
We join the global community in raising awareness about lung health and the importance of breathing clean, healthy air.
Our lungs work tirelessly every second of every day — yet millions of people suffer from lung diseases such as asthma, COPD, lung cancer, and infections like pneumonia and tuberculosis. Many of these conditions can be prevented or treated with early detection, lifestyle changes, and proper medical care.
This World Lung Day, let’s commit to:
✅ Quitting smoking and va**ng
✅ Keeping our environment smoke-free and pollution-free
✅ Seeking medical care early for persistent cough, breathlessness, or chest pain
✅ Supporting research and advocacy for better lung health worldwide
Together, let’s protect our lungs — because every breath counts.
