National Children's Hospital- Pulmonary Services Unit Joins in celebrating our amazing Respiratory Therapists and the vital role they play in helping our young patients breathe freely. Every day, they bring life-saving care to children with conditions from asthma to complex lung disorders.

What is a Respiratory Therapist?
A respiratory therapist (RT) is a certified healthcare professional specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with breathing and cardiopulmonary disorders. Working under the supervision of a physician, RTs care for patients of all ages, from premature infants with underdeveloped lungs to older adults with chronic lung diseases.

6 RT interns was personally endorsed by their department dean Mrs. Maricar Loriaga, RTRP 🤝
