REMINDER: DON'T FORGET TO WEAR WHITE EVERY SUNDAY
In light of recent devastating calamities—typhoons, volcanic eruptions, fires, and earthquakes—we call on our people to seek God's mercy through humble prayer and repentance, reaffirming our National Call to Prayer and Public Repentance.
We invite everyone to observe this every Sunday, and ideally daily, until the Feast of Christ the King, with the ringing of bells as a sign of collective plea. Inspired by Bishop Jimmy Afable, we encourage wearing white every Sunday of October and November, and displaying white ribbons in homes, churches, and public spaces as symbols of purity, accountability, and hope for renewal. Let our white garments reflect our desire for spiritual cleansing and national renewal, guiding us towards hope, healing, and justice, and asking the Lord to restore our land and transform us into vessels of peace and righteousness.
