Nakikibahagi ang Commission on Population and Development National Capital Region (NCR) sa pagdiriwang ng International Men’s Day 2025 bilang pagkilala sa mahalagang papel ng mga kalalakihan sa kanilang pamilya at komunidad. Sa pamamagitan ng Kalalakihang Tapat sa Responsibilidat at Obligasyon sa Pamilya (KATROPA) program, binibigyang-diin ng selebrasyong ito ang kahalagahan ng mga lalaki bilang katuwang sa responsableng pagiging magulang, at pagpapatatag ng sambahayan. Ito ay isang paalala na ang kanilang lakas, dedikasyon, at malasakit ay patuloy na nag-aambag sa mas maunlad at mas maayos na pamayanan.

Ngayong taong ito, ang pagdiriwang ay may temang “Pagpupugay at Pagpapahalaga sa mga Kalalakihan,” hinihikayat ng pagdiriwang na ito ang mas malalim na pag-unawa sa positibong pagkalalaki at ang pagpapahalaga sa kanilang ambag sa pang-araw-araw na buhay. Layunin nitong magkaroon ng bukas na talakayan at mas suportibong kapaligiran para sa lahat. Sa Nobyembre 19, 2025, sabay-sabay nating parangalan ang mga kalalakihan at patatagin ang ating pangakong isulong ang kanilang kapakanan at aktibong partisipasyon sa pagbuo ng mas mabuting kinabukasan.

World Vasectomy Day in the Philippines used to be a 1-day event and attempt to mobilize support, no-scalpel vasectomy service providers, and clients & their partners who have achieved their desired family size. With the guidance and facilitation of the DKT Ph this became a more sustained service over the last 5-years -- and now, this November WVD celebration there are more than 50 service days to celebrate Male Involvement for Safe Motherhood with DKT-CMEN across the country!

We share some pictures in the DKT-CMEN Family Planning Clinic which will snowball to more sharing with satisfied vasectomy acceptors, and posts of our service partners....
