Asian Eye’s Ocular Genetics Service offers comprehensive eye care, evaluation, genetic testing and counseling to patients with genetic (hereditary) eye conditions. The service provides information about the eye problem and the likelihood of another family member developing the same condition. Some of these conditions include, retinitis pigmentosa, Stargardt disease, aniridia, optic neuropathy and syndromes with related eye problems.

Handling this service is Asian Eye Ocular Genetics specialist Dr. Michelle Lingao. She is also a Pediatric Ophthalmologist and Adult Strabismus Specialist.Trained at the Will’s Eye Institute in Philadelphia, USA, she is one of the few doctors in the country that can diagnose and counsel patients about hereditary eye conditions.
