Verbal dyspraxia isn’t about laziness, lack of effort, or “not trying hard enough”.
It’s a motor planning difference that makes it hard for a child’s brain to organise and coordinate the movements needed for clear speech.
They often know exactly what they want to say – getting it out is the tricky part.
And being misunderstood, again and again, can be exhausting.

However, through consistent repetition, the hand becomes accustomed to the movements and patterns involved in writing. Over time, these actions become more automatic, allowing for faster and more effortless expression of thoughts on paper. This principle applies not only to writing but also to other skills that require manual dexterity and coordination.
