Under the ongoing theme, 'UNiTEd for a VAW-free Philippines' (2022-2027), and this yearโ€™s powerful sub-theme, 'VAW Bigyang Wakas, Ngayon na ang Oras!' we are reminded that the time for change is now.

Violence against women and children cannot be ignored; it requires our immediate action, compassion, and commitment.

Letโ€™s come together to raise awareness, strengthen protections, and create spaces for healing and empowerment. With each voice raised and each action taken, we move closer to a future free of violence and fear.

On this World Mental Health Day, let's take a moment to recognize the importance of mental well-being in our lives. Mental health affects how we think, feel, and act, yet itโ€™s often overlooked or misunderstood.

Today, we stand together to break the stigma, encourage open conversations, and support those who are struggling. Whether it's seeking help, offering a listening ear, or practicing self-care, every action counts.

Kinikilala natin ngayong araw si Sir Armando Fenequito Jr. ng RP1 Davao para sa kanyang natatanging serbisyo hindi lamang para sa kanyang istasyon kundi para na rin sa kanyang lalawigan. Para sa kanyang suporta sa ibaโ€™t-ibang mga adbokasiya, siya'y nagsilbing hukom sa National Schools Press Conference noong 2023.

Ito ay ilan lamang sa kanyang natatanging serbisyo at kontribusyon sa mga nagdaang taon.

Taos puso naming ipinagmamalaki si Sir Armando bilang mabuting ehemplo sa kanyang lugar at sa iba pang mga kasapi sa buong bansa. Saludo kaming lahat sa PBS sa hatid mong serbisyo!

Kinikilala natin ngayong araw si Maโ€™am Anabelle Lagrosas ng RP1 Cebu para sa kanyang natatanging serbisyo hindi lamang para sa kanyang istasyon kundi para na rin sa kanyang lalawigan. Nitong taon, buwan ng Pebrero, kinilala ang istasyon sa pagiging kaakibat ng DSWD sa pagpapalaganap ng adhikaing pangkahalatang pag-unlad. Mula naman sa PBS, siyaโ€™y ginawaran ng Gold Award for Service para sa 36 taong serbisyo.

Ito ay ilan lamang sa kanyang natatanging serbisyo at kontribusyon sa mga nagdaang taon.

Yesterday, we gathered all Radyo Pilipinas station managers from all over the archipelago to meet with our Directors and Division Chiefs for the agencyโ€™s annual Strategic Planning Conference.

Through intensive discussions on operational concerns, our managers were given the opportunity to endorse their proposed initiatives for their respective stations. Guided by our 6-year roadmap, initially undertaken in 2023, our heads were able to lay down specific action-plans for 2025-2028. This also serves as a primer for all the station managers as they prepare their activities when they return to their respective stations. Today the second part of the planning conference commences under the Gender and Development Committee.

We thank all our network stations together with our central officers for taking the time to listen to everyoneโ€™s concerns for the further improvement of the bureauโ€™s services.
