One of our client’s beloved dog and our patient, CHI CHI, has been missing since yesterday, August 20, near 𝟮𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲, 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗼, 𝗧𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗴. She is a tricolor aspin (black, brown, and white), very sweet and friendly, and was last seen wearing a pink collar with her name and phone number.

NANAY IRENE AND HER RESCUED PETS NEED OUR HELP 🙏

While floodwaters rose in Barangay San Miguel, Taguig, Nanay Irene made the brave choice to stay behind with her 40 dogs and 8 cats—refusing to leave them behind even when her own family had already evacuated.

With limited food, rising water, and no rescue in sight, she is now calling for urgent help for her beloved animals who are currently surviving on chairs and countertops.

“Hindi ko sila pwede iwan.”

Doc Steph recently visited a client in Caloocan who has dedicated herself to rescuing and caring for over 60 cats. Each cat is thriving. They are well-fed, socialized, and regularly checked. Most are already spayed or neutered, and all are kept up to date with their vaccinations.

During the visit, nine of the cats received their core vaccines: Rabies and Leukofeligen. These vaccines are essential in protecting them from common and preventable diseases that can affect their long-term health.

The visit also emphasized the importance of spaying and neutering, especially for individuals involved in rescue work. Sterilization helps prevent overpopulation. It also reduces the risk of certain illnesses and helps manage behavioral issues such as spraying, fighting, and roaming.

Ma’am’s commitment to her cats reflects what responsible rescue truly means. Providing food and shelter is only the beginning. Ensuring each animal receives proper health care and preventive treatment is just as important.

Today, Metro Manila was placed under Heavy Rainfall Warning due to the Enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and Severe Tropical Storm Crising—causing widespread flooding across many areas.

𝗦𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹, 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗩𝗲𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻.

In this video, you can see Doc Steph and our vet assistant wading through deep floodwater on foot. The client’s home was located in an inner area (looban) that was no longer accessible by vehicle, so they continued on foot—just to make sure the pet received care.

Despite the harsh weather conditions, our team is currently completing their 7th out of 8 scheduled home visits for today.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding, especially with possible delays during the rainy season.
