'Lead Me Lord'

1 Peter 2:21-25
"For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in His steps.

He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in His mouth.

When He was reviled, He did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but continued entrusting Himself to Him who judges justly.

He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By His wounds you have been healed.

For you were straying like sheep, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls."

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for everything You have done for us, specially for Your sacrifice and death on the cross for our sins. Help us to cherish this salvation and to share this good news to others. Lead us this year 2026 to be more mature in our Christian faith.

'Lord, Bless This New Year'

1 Peter 2:9-12
"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh, which wage war against your soul.

Keep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day of visitation."

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for choosing us and calling us out of darkness into Your marvelous light. Help us to resist evil and to live righteously, so that we may please You and glorify You.

'Rejoice in the Lord'

1 Peter 1:6-9

so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls."

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for the gift of faith that enables us to believe in You and be saved. Strengthen our faith through trials and challenges in life that leads to our Christian maturity.

James 5:13-16
"Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise.

Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.

James 4:13-16
"Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”

yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.

Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.”

As it is, you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil."

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, remind us that our lives on earth is fleeting and temporary. Teach us to be humble, to always depend on You and to acknowledge that You are in control of everything.
