Closing the program powerfully, Brig. Gen. Bernard R. Yang, Director of the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group, delivered an eye-opening session on the growing challenges of cybersecurity and data privacy. Established in 2013, the group has strengthened its core capabilities to address rising cybercrime incidents through legal frameworks, international cooperation, and cyber warrants. He emphasized that people remain the weakest link in IT infrastructure, highlighting the need for continued awareness and training. Key accomplishments in combating vishing scams, counterfeit operations, and the importance of stakeholder collaboration were also shared.
