Patient: Doc, can you help me?
I had โ€œGoretexโ€ a few years back but I did not like the result. I found it too high for me (bridge) thatโ€™s why I had it removed. My previous surgeon cut a big part of my alars making them uneven. I also cannot breathe well in my right nostril after the surgery.

I have been seeing your posts about . This has renewed my interest in getting my nose repaired. Am I a good candidate?
Me: If youโ€™re happy with your present bridge height, I believe I can repair your nose w/o any foreign body use. Did your previous surgeon use any of your ear cartilage?

Patient: He did not use any. Also Doc, I look like a witch with my nose. My tip has drooped a lot making my nose look very long.

Me: Ah.. mag rib tayo. Para sa bridge and tip napo yan.

Patient: Baka naman po ito ay mag warp gaya ng nababasa ko?
Me: Ay never po ito mag warp dahil ang rib cartilage nyo po ay cha-chop chop-in natin nang pino. Meron po tayong IRONMAN machine.
Yun pong Block Rib (isang buo) cartilage ang nagwa warp or tumatabingi.
Ito ang advantage ng ultrafine diced rib hindi nagwa warp.

Patient: Ay sha po ba.. baka naman po mukang halata and rib?
Me: Hindi po. Pinong pino ito na parang asukal kaya walang kantuhan na mababakat sa inyong bridge.

Patient: Ay cge po Doc mag po tayo.
Me: Best decision po.
