LIBRENG OPERASYON. Magandang balita para sa ating mga pasyente, ang University of Santo Tomas Hospital, Section of Urology ay nagsasagawa ng mga libreng operasyon para sa ating mga charity patient. Ang mga sakit tulad ng Prostate cancer (kanser sa prostata), Kidney cancer (kanser sa bato), Bladder cancer (kanser sa pantog), Testicular cancer (kanser sa bayag) at Pe**le cancer (kanser sa ari) ay maaaring magamot sa pamamagitan ng operasyon kung ito ay localized disease at hindi pa kumakalat sa ibang parte ng katawan. Binubuo ang team ng mga ekspertong urology consultant, fellow at residente na layunin na maibigay ang pinakamahusay na pangangalaga sa ating mga pasyente.

The USTH Section of Urology, in partnership with the Philippine Urological Association, successfully hosted “Urology Face Off: Comparing the Best Approaches to Urologic Diseases” on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the AVR, Mezzanine, St. John Paul Building, USTH.

This postgraduate course brought together distinguished specialists and practitioners for an in-depth exploration of current management strategies in Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), Urologic Oncology, Urolithiasis, Reconstructive Urology, and Functional Urology. The program also featured industry-sponsored lectures, providing participants with insights into emerging technologies and therapeutics in the field.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our esteemed speakers for generously sharing their clinical expertise and research-based perspectives. Your contributions were integral to the success of this academic initiative.

To all attendees, we hope the expert-led sessions enriched your knowledge and fostered meaningful dialogue in the ongoing pursuit of excellence in urologic care.

The Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center Institute of Urology, in collaboration with the Philippine Society of Uro-Oncologists and the Philippine Urological Association, will hold the Prostate Cancer Summit on October 19, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the 6th-floor auditorium of the CGHMC Main Building. This face-to-face event is entitled “Point-Counterpoint Discussion: Controversial Issues on Prostate Cancer Management” with the "URO-Oncolympics." We have invited all urologic training institutions in the country and will award a grand prize of P20,000 to the winner of the URO-Oncolympics. This event is PRC accredited and offers 2 CPD units. Lunch and snacks will be served.
