The LTO said it will release plastic driver’s license cards starting April 15.

LTO's Chief Assistance Secretary Virgilio Mendoza II announced on Monday that he has instructed LTO officers to make preparations for the distribution process of PLASTIC DRIVER'S LICENSES to motorists, targeted to start after the Holy Week break.

Below is the announced schedule of release based on the licenses' expiration dates:

APRIL 15 to 30, 2024: driver's licenses with expiry dates from Apr. 1 - Aug. 31, 2023 and Apr 1 - 30, 2024

MAY 1 to 31, 2024: driver's licenses with expiry dates Sept. 1 to Dec. 31, 2023, and May 1 to 31, 2024

JUNE 1 to 30, 2024: driver’s licenses with expiration dates from Jan. 1 to March 31, 2024, and June 1 to 30, 2024
