MONTINOLA-CRUZ CLINIC ORIGIN STORY From Breaking to Building: How God Turned Our Story Around
There was a time when we thought we had it all.
Our business was thriving, our income was more than enough, and from the outside, life looked perfect. But deep inside, we were drifting away from the One who truly provides. Personal ambition, pride, and selfishness began to take root. The business that once brought excitement slowly became a trap — tangled in politics, greed, and a toxic environment.
Before we knew it, everything spiraled downward.
The six-figure weeks disappeared. We were living paycheck to paycheck. I sank into discouragement and depression, thinking maybe I needed to run far away to find myself again.
But on that so-called “soul searching,” I didn’t find myself…
God found me.
He met me in my lowest point, comforting me, assuring me, and whispering, “Let go… and let Me.”
It was the hardest thing to do — to surrender everything. But with trembling faith, we walked away from what we thought was our security.
We started over.
The pandemic hit, yet strangely, we were full of peace. God provided enough for us to save. We even let go of a vehicle we once prized to help us make a down payment for a house. By His grace, we found a home… with a small commercial space nearby.
We knew God wanted us to get the space. We weren’t sure what to do with it.
We were new to the community. Starting a clinic felt like a huge risk. But again, God nudged us: “Trust Me.”
And so we did.
With nothing but faith, prayer, and the desire to serve, we opened our doors. What started as a hesitant step became a testimony of His faithfulness. Patients came. Stories were shared. Lives were touched — not just with medical care, but with hope.
Today, this clinic stands not because we were strong, but because God is good.
It is a place for healing — both body and spirit. And every person who walks in is a reminder that His plans are always better than ours.
