Bringing dementia awareness closer to the community!

The Dementia Lay Fora: "Understanding Dementia", organized by the Alzheimer's Disease Association of the Philippines (ADAP) and EAMC Department of Neurosciences successfully engaged Barangay Health Workers in promoting early recognition, care, and support for persons with dementia at the grassroots level.

We are proud to share our big wins from the Stroke Society of the Philippines 26th Annual Convention!

Our research papers stood out during the research competition, particularly in the Case Report category. Our heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Roger Joseph Jecino and Dr. Gerard Vincent Aguas for their dedication and hard work.

Another milestone was presenting our Telestroke Network, the first LGU-anchored telestroke network in the Philippines, delivered by Dr. Levin Ace Danganan on behalf of the department during the forum "Building a Unified Stroke Network." It was an honor to showcase how local initiatives can shape national impact.

This is truly one of those "malayo pa pero malayo na" moments and we’re taking a moment to celebrate how far we’ve come, while staying committed to how far we can still go.
