The Rehabilitation Sheltered Workshop (RSW) is a non-residential business-work oriented facility of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) that renders services to Person with Disabilities (PWDs) through provision of employment opportunities to them to become gainfully engage in productive work and to become a contributing members of the community
It makes a difference through the following programs and services
1. Sheltered Employment- Provides productive work to PWDs through special facilities, income generating projects through homework schemes and earning wage to enable them to acquire a working capacity required in open industry
2. Sheltered Workshop- Provides opportunities to develop individual potential in self-realization, human relation, civic responsibility and economic self;f-sufficiency
3. Social and Auxiliary Services- Provides integrated social services such as casework, group work and community extension services,m referral for employment, medical. Operation and Production Services- Involves work study, pre-job evaluation, post-job evaluation, purchasing, arrangement of workshop, productivity of workers, wok habits, production control, quality control, stock control, job orders, pre-costing delivery and records and reports
5. Marketing Services- Perform business activities that directs the flow of goods and services from the producer to the consumer. It covers all the activities, which takes place from the time when the item is produced, to the point where it reaches to the consumers
