Featured Test: Carcinoembryonic Antigen (CEA)
The Carcinoembryonic Antigen (CEA) test helps doctors in the management and monitoring of cancer. Higher CEA levels may be seen in cancers of the digestive tract, as well as in breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, and ovarian cancers. Certain non-cancerous conditions can also affect CEA levels. Tracking CEA over time allows doctors to better assess disease progression and treatment response.
