A - Air circulation and ventilation.

P - Physical distance one meter or more.

A - Always use face mask and face shield.

T - Time of interaction thirty minutes or less.

We continue to ask our Lord to save us and protect us from this disease. May He send us His Spirit to keep us strong and resilient. We ask Mary, our Mother, to intercede for us and to keep us in her warm embrace.

On the 2019 nCoV outbreak

I would like to share here portions of the advisory issued by the Ateneo through its University Physician. These also apply in the household setting:

Use of masks:

· "The general public, especially those who are not sick and don’t manifest flu-like symptoms, need not wear masks. The more effective protective measures include frequent and proper hand-washing technique, cough etiquette, avoiding unnecessary agglomerations, especially in closed crowded rooms/venues.

· "Individuals who manifest respiratory symptoms (fever, cough, difficulty breathing) may wear medical masks (to be disposed of properly as infectious waste) and seek medical care as soon as possible, particularly if they traveled recently to areas with confirmed 2019-nCOV outbreaks or if they had been in close contact with people who got exposed to the coronavirus.

General preventive measures:

· Proper hygiene practices and effective hand-washing techniques

· Cough etiquettes

· Keep a distance of at least 3 ft (1 meter) of a person suspected of having 2019-nCOV infection or flu-like signs and symptoms

· Proper handling and disposal of wastes; used masks should be considered as infectious waste and should be disposed of properly.

· Avoid agglomeration in crowded closed venues
