Delgado, a pioneering Medical Board Examinations Topnotcher from UST, and his wife, Mrs. Carmen Bayot-Delgado, the then 4-bed facility was renamed Delgado Clinic as it increased bed capacity and developed new specialities. In the 1960s, Dr. Mary Rose Delgado-Abad and her husband, Dr. Rainerio S. Abad, an OB-GYN specialist and Oncologist, came back from the United States to streamline Dr. Delgado's vision of enhancing quality of life through excellent personalized patient care. Jesus C. Delgado in the 1980s, Ma. Violeta Delgado Cojuangco, who completed her Master's Degree in Hospital Administration at Ateneo de Manila, was anointed President-Administrator of the medical institution. In 1988, the founder's heirs rechristened the clinic Dr. Jesus C. Delgado Memorial Hospital (JDMH) in his loving memory. JDMH became the 14th institution under Metro Pacific Hospital Holdings Inc. (MPHHI) - the hospital investment arm of Manuel V. Pangilinan's Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (MPIC) - in 2017. Over the past few years, the now 65-bed facility has been actively expanding its services - with the aim of cementing itself as a women's care specialist. More than 70 years on, Delgado Hospital - under the stewardship of Deputy Chief Executive Officer Michael F. Aldover - continues to meet the growing health care needs of the community with complete facilities as a general hospital, committed to rendering high-quality service. JDMH is duly licensed by the Department of Health (DOH) as a Level 2 General Hospital and accredited by PhilHealth and the Philippine Hospital Association.

The Delgado Clinic was founded on August 1, 1948 by Dr. Jesus C. Delgado, a pioneering Medical Board Examinations Topnotcher from University of Santo Tomas, and his wife,
Mrs. Carmen Bayot-Delgado, with a vision of enhancing the quality of life through excellent personalized patient care.
In the 1960โฒs, daughter Dr. Mary Rose Delgado-Abad and her husband, Dr. Rainerio S.
Abad, an OB-GYNE specialist and Oncologist, came back from the United States to give
Dr. Delgado a helping hand as the clinic continued to grow.
After the demise of both Dr. & Mrs. Jesus C. Delgado in the 1980โฒs, the reigns of the medical facility were transferred to its former President and Administrator, Ma. Violeta Delgado-Cojuangco, who then completed her masterโs degree in Hospital Administration with honors at Ateneo de Manila.
In 1988, in the memory of the late founder the clinic was renamed, Dr. Jesus C. Delgado Memorial Hospital (JDMH). It continues to meet the growing health care needs of the community with complete facilities as a tertiary hospital, committed to rendering high-quality service.
By 2017, JDMH became the 14th family member of the Metro Pacific Group of Hospitals led by Mr. Manuel V. Pangilinan. This enabled the 70-bed tertiary hospital to renovate its facilities which made the hospital environment even livelier, as observed positively by the patients; upgrade its medical equipment to deliver excellent service with
accuracy and expand its capacity to serve its surrounding communities.
Last June, the JDMH Center for Womenโs Health was recently opened. It offers
comprehensive health care services specially dedicated for women composed of the 1)
First Time Mom Unit โ a facility that caters to need of the soon to be first time moms;
2) Ultrasound System: GE Voluson E10 โ a top-of-the-line premium 4D OB/GYN machine; and 3) Digital Mammography: Senographe Pristina TM by GE Healthcare.
JDMH is the 2nd in Asia and the very 1st in the Philippines to obtain the Senographe Pristina by GE Healthcare, a Digital Mammography with Tomosynthesis which allows the patient to control the pressure of the compression, providing them with the comfort and ease the pain during the procedure and delivering exceptional image quality at the same time.
JDMH continuously improves its facilities, equipment and services in the years to come with its commitment to provide healthcare services that works for women of all ages, with utmost care and excellent service.
