Provider: myopia control lens options such as Myopilux, Miyosmart & Myokids, & orthokeratology. Special interest in amblyopia, sjogren's syndrome and keratoconus. We fit the following specialty contact lenses: soft toric contact lenses (for astigmatism), soft multifocal contact lenses (for 40 y/o and above patients), rigid gas permeable lenses (rgp lenses), prosthetic contact lenses, scleral contact lenses and kerasoft IC contact lenses for irregular corneas. We also offer myopia control using orthokeratology, glasses and dual focus contact lenses. We also ship contact lens orders.

She started wearing her scleral lenses in high school, and now she is a freshman College student. She used to need her aunt to spot for her, but as she matures, she developed the determination to do it on her own. So proud of this young lady.

Here's our little gymnast... she started wearing contact lenses at age 4 to protect her eyes from her eyelashes. She has trichiasis due to epiblepharon which lead to staining of her central corneas. After rechecking the lens fit, I told them that I need the lenses off to check on the corneas. After cleaning her hands she quickly jumped up the chair and removed her right lens... It was so quick that I couldn't resist and took a video to show all of you that kids are capable to handle contact lenses--- with guidance from brave and supportive parents of course. 😀

After months of adjustments, we can finally share this case. This 12 year old patient was referred to us for contact lens fitting. He was diagnosed to have CONGENTIAL HEREDITARY ENDOTHELIAL DYSTROPHY. His corneas were cloudy since birth, and have an overall steep topography. Congenital Corneal Opacities (CCO) are fairly uncommon, with a prevalence of 6/100,000 newborns.

In 2022, he developed hydrops. His doctors were planning to do a corneal transplant , but this year finally decided against it. Diagnostic fitting was very tricky as all lenses placed on his eyes kept on popping out. Note some areas of his cornea was over 100D. We had to roll-up our sleeves with the lab to meticulously design his lenses. The most challenging part for this case is to clear the midperiphery part of the corneas. After several months of adjustments, I am happy to say that we have him on good fitting lenses, and from not seeing the largest letter E of the chart even with his glasses, he can now see 20/50. He now enjoys biking on his own, and seeing better in class. Ultimately, we have high clearance lenses on his eyes, 8.40 Sagittal height for the right and an 8.15 Sagittal height for the left.

EXCITED FOR THE PATIENT TO SEE THE WORLD! We were able to dispense the scleral contact lenses of this 25-year-old patient a month ago just before her trip. She has keratoconus and her best corrected visual acuity with her glasses was 20/100 with double vision on both eyes. With her scleral contact lenses, she was able to see 20/20- on her right and 20/25 on the left. She came in for follow up, and was sharing how she enjoyed seeing new places with her new vision. So glad that we can be God's instrument to improve the life of this patient. Having a vibrant personality, she can't wait to explore the world!
