To all Urology training institutions!

Palakihan ng Bato Season 3 is now open for submissions! Judging will be on March 6, 2025 1pm at the Urology Office, ward 9, VMMC.

For provincial institutions, please submit your stones before March 6, 2025 via LBC. For manila-based institutions, you may bring your stone to the VMMC Urology Office along with a representative on March 6, 2025.

Inaanyayahan ng VMMC Urology ang lahat ng kalakihan edad 50 pataas na makilahok sa aming nationwide Prostate Cancer Awareness event na gaganapin sa VMMC OPD ng Sept 28, 2024 8am - 12nn! Bukas po sa aming mga minamahal na beterano, pati na rin sa civilian at non-veteran patients.

(VMMC Urology in cooperation with the Philippine Urological Association, and the Philippine Society of Uro-Oncologists, is inviting everyone to avail of a nationwide free consultation and screening day for prostate cancer on September 28, 2024 from 8AM-12NN!)

The VMMC Section of Urology congratulates our recent graduate Dr. Jan Ernest Guy Yadao for passing the Philippine Board of Urology Written and Oral Exams held last August 4 and 18, 2024. This will make him eligible to be conferred a Diplomate of the PBU. We are very proud of you!

Tayo Na Naman!

Last Saturday (June 22, 2024), the VMMC Section of Urology in cooperation with Hi-Eisai Pharmaceuticals Inc joined the Philippine Urological Association in spreading awareness for Prostate Health and Erectile Dysfunction in the annual National DRE Day.

Held at the Urology OPD, we held a Lay Forum tackling Stone Disease and BPH. Free patient consults were also done for the benefit of our RPV and walk-in civilian patients. This event had a live simulcast with the PUA and the 16 Urology training institutions across the Philippines.
