Fueled by the Thomasian spirit, the UST Kickoff Party 2025 last September 12 at the UST Practice Gym and Quadricentennial Pavilion brought together the Thomasian community for an unforgettable day of fun and celebration!

As we welcome another exciting UAAP season, Thomasians came in full force to support the Tiger’s Fair and the return of the Tiger Radio Caravan, the one-of-a-kind performances by our own athletes, and the thrilling Exhibition Match between the UST Golden Tigresses and Petro Gazz Angels.

In accordance with Article 15 of the 2009 Constitution and By-laws of the Student Government of the UST College of Nursing, the First Legislative Assembly and special elections were held online last September 6, 2025, via a Zoom Meeting, to address the vacancies from the general elections.

As witnessed by the Nursing Comission on Election (COMELEC), the Nursing Central Boards of Students (NCBS) Executive Board, Levels 1-4 Class Presidents, and advisers of NCBS and Nursing COMELEC, this elected the following:

𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱
CODYVANN RODGE ARCEGA as the new 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙏𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙧 and
ESHE JOSELLE STA. INES as the new 𝘼𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙤𝙧.

𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱
ANDRE MATTHEW DELA VEGA as the new 𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙧;
AINSLEY DANELLE DECHAVEZ as the new 𝘿𝙚𝙥𝙪𝙩𝙮 𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙧; and
MARIE ANNE ELOIZA BERIÑA as the new 𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮-𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡.

Meanwhile, the position for Public Relations Officer of the UST NCBS Executive Board remains unfilled after an absence of nominees. A future Legislative Board & Executive Assembly will be held to fill these roles.

From September 2 to September 5, 2025, the UST College of Nursing held its annual Basic Life Support (BLS) Training for its Level 4 Nursing Students.

This program aims to equip student nurses with the skills and knowledge to respond quickly and efficiently in life-threatening emergencies.
