These special wheelchairs are designed with large, buoyant wheels and waterproof materials, allowing users to move easily over sand and even float safely in shallow water. Trained beach staff and volunteers are often present to assist, ensuring both comfort and safety.
This initiative isn’t just about accessibility — it’s about dignity, equality, and joy. For many disabled individuals, feeling the waves and sea breeze was once a dream; now, it's an everyday reality in coastal cities like Barcelona, Valencia, and Málaga. These beaches also feature accessible pathways, changing rooms, and shaded areas, making them models for inclusive tourism.

By prioritizing barrier-free design, Spain has redefined what it means to create public spaces for all. The result is not only happier families and visitors but also a more compassionate, united community.

Ang mga benepisyong kalakip ng Person with Disability ID or PWD ID ay eksklusibong karapatan ng mga PWD.

Protektahan natin ang mga karapatang ito at suportahan ang ating mga PWD. Maaring i-report ang anumang paglabag sa Philippine National Police (PNP), Persons with Disability Affairs Offices (PDAOs), o direkta sa National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA).

Huwag mameke, huwag magnakaw ng benepisyong hindi naman nakalaan para sa iyo.
