St. Luke’s Medical Center – College of Medicine proudly celebrates the grit and sportsmanship of our student-athletes who competed in Palarong Medisina 2025 held last April 6 and 9!

From the courts to the virtual arena, our student athletes gave it their all in volleyball, basketball, football, and Mobile Legends—securing a Silver Medal in MLBB! 🥈

Congratulations to our players for showing the Lukan pride in every serve and shot! You definitely made us all proud. ⚡

𝗟𝘂𝗸𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻: 𝗦𝗟𝗠𝗖-𝗖𝗠 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗔𝗙𝗣 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗣𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵

St. Luke’s Medical Center – College of Medicine has once again proved its commitment to research excellence, securing 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 in the Medical Students’ Policy Pitch Research Contest at the Philippine Academy of Family Physicians (PAFP) 64th Annual Convention held on March 8, 2025, at PICC.

Their research, “𝗔 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀-𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗘-𝗖𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗘-𝗖𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗖𝗥,” stood out among over 40 submissions, bringing home the top spot.

This achievement is also a testament to the dedication of the late 𝗗𝗿. 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗧𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗮, whose passion for research and commitment to her students continue to inspire beyond her time.
