Iwasan ang unprotected s*x upang maiwasan din ang Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI).

Ang Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) ay mga sakit na naipapasa sa pamamagitan ng pakikipagtalik (vaginal, a**l, at oral s*x).
Maaaring sanhi ito ng bacterial, viral, skin parasites, fungal, o protozoa. Madalas walang sintomas sa simula pero pwedeng magdulot ng seryosong komplikasyon kung hindi maagapan.

Hindi mo makikita sa itsura kung may STI ang isang tao. Kaya importante ang:
✅ Regular na magpacheck-up
✅ Tamang gamutan, hindi magself-medicate
✅ Paggamit ng condom
✅ Pag-alam ng totoo, hindi paniniwala sa chismis o stigma

Mula March 2024 hanggang March 2025, 88% ng mga PLHIV na naka-enroll sa antiretroviral therapy (ART) at sumailalim sa viral load test ay natukoy na virally suppressed. Patunay ito na ang tuloy-tuloy na ART para sa mga PLHIV ay nakatutulong para mas mabilis nilang maabot ang Undetectable = Untransmittable status.

On June 27, Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte signed the Gender-Inclusive Health Ordinance (SP 3416) into law. This trailblazing policy marks a historic milestone as the FIRST-EVER transgender-inclusive policy in the Philippines.

The ordinance aims to build a comprehensive healthcare system in Quezon City that is inclusive, affirming, and responsive to the needs of transgender individuals.

We attribute this victory to all transgender health advocates, allies within the Quezon City LGU, civil society organizations, and the broader LGBTQIA+ community.

HEALTHCARE ACCESS PARA SA LAHAT

Ipatutupad ng Quezon City ang Gender-Inclusive Health Ordinance na layong magbigay ng accessible at healthcare services anuman ang gender indentity o expression ng isang indibidwal.

Sa ilalim ng bagong ordinansa, ibibigay ng pamahalaan ang gender-affirming consultations and counseling, medical guidance and referrals para sa specialized services, at mental health na susuportahan ang gender-diverse and transgender individuals. Kabilang din sa programa ang HIV/AIDS prevention, disability services, at crisis support.
