Our Story
Pediapharma, Inc. was founded in 1991 by a renowned Pediatrician, Dr. Arturo C. Ludan, a TOYM Awardee in Medicine. He founded the company with a vision to develop Pediatric products that are the result of clinical efficacy and safety. The first product developed was Salinase Drops, which today is the company’s iconic product. As the years progressed the company slowly introduced new and unique products that were industry pioneers based on the latest medical and scientific evidence and research. These are the following: 1994- Z-Vita- A vitamin B Complex and Zinc Mineral Supplement based on scientific evidence that Zinc is the key mineral that supports growth and boosts immunity. It is the first zinc formulation for children launched in the country. 1995- Salinase Spray- A product extension of Salinase drops to target the Adult Market 1997- Zimuvite Drops- A vitamin A, C, E and mineral zinc supplement that supports the development of the immune system to fight off diseases. 2000- Zinbee- A single ingredient zinc gluconate in syrup and tablet form. Zinc gluconate is the preferred source of zinc as it is more bioavailable than other zinc compounds. 2005- Cholyte PLUS- A reduced osmolarity ORS with zinc, a unique 2-in-1 ORS formulation which complies with the recommendation of the WHO. 2006- Pediapharma launched a multistrain probiotic, Gastro Flora, imported from the U.S.A. 2012- Salinase Max, another innovative product with natural antibacterial, xylitol. Pediapharma, Inc. has continued to become a leader in innovation in Pediatric products. Among these are the use of xylitol in dental products in preventing dental caries. Today, Pediapharma, Inc. continues to innovate ahead of everyone else in the development of products for the health of children. It may be said that our mission and vision for our company aim to promote the optimum health of Filipino children, the future of our society.
