The Philippine Veterinary Medical Association (PVMA) officially launched the 93rd Annual Convention and Scientific Conference with potential exhibitors, poised to be another landmark gathering for the veterinary community. The meeting was held at Max's Restaurant in Scout Lascano, Quezon City—a venue that offered a warm and familiar setting, ideal for fostering collaboration and building excitement among participants.

PVMA President Dr. Jerry Alcantara opened the meeting with a heartfelt welcome, setting the tone for a productive exchange. Dr. Lina Policarpio, Vice President and Convention Chair, followed with a comprehensive overview of the upcoming convention, including a detailed presentation of the exhibit hall layout. To round out the session, PVMA Treasurer Dr. Russell Tianzon introduced the various sponsorship packages available to exhibitors, highlighting opportunities for meaningful engagement and visibility throughout the event. Other PVMA Officers present were, Drs. Saza Curaming, Voltaire Basinang, Sheng Ordinario and Immediate Past-President, Dr. Harris Constantino.

It is with great sorrow to inform everyone that our dear colleague, Dr. Constancia "Doc Connie" Nitura Catapan (of Nico's Veterinary Clinic) joined our creator last June 25, 2025.

She was an active member of CAVMA/PVMA Cavite Chapter member since 2004-2025 and a CAVMA treasurer from 2008-2018.

She was not only a dedicated and compassionate veterinarian but also a loving wife, mother, dear friend, and mentor to many especially in Cavite.

May her soul rest in eternal peace...
