📌 Safety Reminders
📎Safety Note
Incense smoke is still smoke. It can add to indoor air pollution, especially if ventilation is poor. This can be dangerous for people who spend most of their time indoors. Studies have shown that daily exposure is linked to poor lung function. To protect your health, burn incense in moderation. Encourage good ventilation by opening windows and turning on fans. Avoid direct inhalation by never burning them in closed spaces. Instead, use incense in an airy, open spot.
•Ash falling outside your incense burner could discolor furniture. It may even be hot enough to cause a fire hazard. Make sure all incense ash falls on a fireproof surface.
•Keep both lit and unlit incense out of the reach of small children and pets.
•If you’re asthmatic or have other respiratory issues then you should avoid burning incense.
•If you’re pregnant, you should talk to your doctor before burning incense.
•Always be conscious of where you burn your incense and what it might come in contact with.
•Position your incense away from drapes, lampshades, and other flammable objects that could ignite.
•Never burn incense inside the closets.
