The PGCA Board of Directors for 2025–2026 recently conducted its Strategic Planning Session on July 14–15, 2025. The session served as an opportunity to align perspectives and review the organization’s accomplishments and milestones. The President presented the Strategic Framework, outlining key strategies, initiatives, and targets designed to achieve the organization’s goals, all anchored in our core vision and mission. Each Standing Committee also presented its proposed workplan for board review, critique, and finalization. We look forward to another year of meaningful service in support of our members and the continued advancement of the counseling profession.

The new set of PGCA Board of Directors was officially welcomed during the oath-taking ceremony held on June 20, 2025, at the Function Room of Solaire Resort North. The ceremony was officiated by Dr. Luzviminda Guzman, Chairperson of the Professional Regulatory Board of Guidance and Counseling (PRBGC). Following this, PGCA President Christopher Hernandez administered the oath of office to the newly appointed Assistant Secretary and Assistant Treasurer. Outgoing officers delivered their turnover messages, followed by the acceptance speech of the PGCA President. The event proceeded with the first meeting of the new Board of Directors to discuss key organizational matters. Earlier that morning, the 12th PGCA BOD meeting was also held, focusing on the evaluation of the 60th Annual National Conference and addressing various pending projects and tasks.
