If the abscess bursts inside the body, there is a risk of blood poisoning. Thus, it is very important not to squeeze, drain or pop the cyst at home. DIY wart removal methods, like using over-the-counter treatments, often don't work because they can be ineffective, inconsistent, or even harmful if not used correctly.
This salicylic acid patch damaged the surrounding healthy skin while failing to eliminate the wart. This is because salicylic acid is a keratolytic, which breaks down keratin that makes up both warts and the outer layer of normal skin. If not applied carefully or if the wart is particularly stubborn, the acid can affect healthy skin more than the wart itself, leading to irritation or damage without effectively removing the wart.

Moles can grow anywhere on your face and body. In general, a normal mole should not be bigger than the size of the eraser on a small pencil.
