Most of them have exhausted all the standard modalities of treatment. Many of them have turned to unproven, unsafe and unscientific methods. Some think of going to other countries in search of a cure, or at least ways to help prolong their lives. Others just “accepted” their fate and wait to die. There are now several new and innovative modalities based on real science that are undergoing clinical

trials in several countries or are being used for treating patients on compassionate grounds. It will be years before such studies are completed, and thus will be of no benefit to those with terminal cancers now. Our Mission is to serve as a one-stop shop for patients requiring innovative treatment. A team approach will be the norm, with a single fee charged to the patient, regardless of how many specialists form the team. No team member shall make separate bills for professional services. We shall provide novel therapies to patients with terminal cancers. We shall bring into the Philippines new medicines and new technologies, following government regulations, for patients that need them. However, if the desired treatment will not be quickly available in the Philippines, we shall also make the proper arrangements to send the patients to the hospitals in other countries where such treatments are being offered safely, including arranging for somebody to fetch them from the airport in the recipient country. At the same time, we shall help the patients and their families understand the advantages and limitations of such treatment. The process shall be rapid and expedited, without abandoning scientific rectitude.
