There are ways of using the ropes that allow us to get the proper form of the pose or to go deeper into the pose.

Several things should be happening in this pose.

Lift up the front body.
Push back the top of the thighs.
Move the buttocks forward.
Ensure that the arms are plugged into the shoulders socket.
Don't forget to look diagonally up.

We just finished our third quarterly workshop, focused on rope work.

Using the rope to execute more familiar poses allows us to focus on better form and alignment.

Before the teacher arrives, we use the time to try out poses that we don't usually try. It's good to have teachers and fellow practitioners to assist and make adjustments.

We thank our teacher, Saree, and other teachers who assisted during the class.
