A total of 1,282 examinees passed the Dentistry Licensure Examination held in November 2025, marking another successful batch of newly licensed dentists in the Philippines.
The University of the East (UE) proudly produced the topnotcher, with Irish Kyle Mateo leading the exam after earning an impressive 87.73% rating.
In terms of overall performance, Centro Escolar University (CEU) recorded the highest number of passers, with 267 examinees successfully passing the board examination, reflecting the schoolβs strong and consistent dentistry program.
Meanwhile, Cebu Doctorsβ University and CEU Makati both achieved a perfect 100% passing rate, with all 50 of their examinees successfully passing the exam, an outstanding accomplishment.
UE also demonstrated academic excellence, with 4 of its graduates placing among the Top 10 topnotchers, further solidifying its reputation as one of the countryβs leading dentistry schools.
In the Philippines, newly licensed dentists typically earn β±25,000ββ±40,000 per month, while those with several years of experience can make β±50,000ββ±100,000 or more. Dentists who own private clinics often earn β±150,000ββ±500,000+ monthly, depending on their practice and location. Highly specialized dentists, especially in urban areas, can earn β±200,000 to over β±1 million per month.
