๐ŸŒž Quick Life-Saving Tip! Stay Hydrated, Stay Safe ๐Ÿ’ง

Drink at least 3 liters of water daily โ€” even if youโ€™re not feeling thirsty yet. Your body needs constant hydration, especially during hot weather. Avoid sugary drinks, coffee, and soft drinks, as they can actually dehydrate you faster and make you feel more exhausted.

Take extra steps to protect yourself from the heat. Wear loose, light-colored, and breathable clothing to stay cool and comfortable. Whenever possible, stay in shaded areas or air-conditioned spaces, especially during peak heat hours from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Cooling your body is importantโ€”take frequent cool showers or use wet towels to help lower your temperature. Also, try to avoid strenuous outdoor activities during the hottest parts of the day to prevent heat-related illnesses.

โš ๏ธ Know the danger signs of heat stroke (this is an emergency!):
โ€ข High body temperature (above 39.4ยฐC / 103ยฐF)
โ€ข Confusion, dizziness, or loss of consciousness
โ€ข Hot, dry skin (no sweating) or rapid heartbeat

If you or someone else experiences these symptoms, seek immediate medical attention. Acting fast can save lives.

Stay alert, stay cool, and take care of yourself and your loved ones. ๐Ÿ’™

Fire Safety Tips | Starts with You! ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Stay calm and act fast in case of fire. Alert everyone immediately and evacuate safely. Remember to crawl low under smoke, follow the Stop, Drop, and Roll rule if your clothes catch fire, and always know your nearest exits. Practice fire drills and learn how to properly use a fire extinguisher using the PASS method (Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep).

Once you are safe, donโ€™t hesitate to call emergency services. Being prepared can save livesโ€”yours and others.

Water is the foundation of life โ€” essential for our health, food security, environment, and economic development. This World Water Day, we are reminded that access to clean and safe water is not unlimited, and the responsibility to protect it lies with each one of us.

As global water challenges continue to grow due to climate change, population increase, and environmental degradation, conserving water has become more important than ever. Simple actions such as reducing unnecessary water use, fixing leaks, reusing water when possible, and promoting sustainable practices within our homes and communities can create meaningful change.

Let this day serve as a call to action for individuals, families, and organizations to work together in safeguarding our water resources. By valuing every drop today, we help secure a healthier environment and a sustainable future for generations to come.

Together, let us commit to protecting water โ€” because every drop saved is a step toward preserving life.

Every year, in celebration of his birthday, Cong. Kit Belmonte chooses to give a meaningful giftโ€”the gift of lifeโ€”through blood donation with the Philippine Red Cross - Quezon City Chapter.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Cong. Belmonte for consistently sharing his blood to help patients whose recovery is often delayed due to the unavailability of safe blood. His selfless act continues to bring hope and second chances to those in need.

More than a personal celebration, this annual gesture reflects a deep commitment to humanitarian service and inspires others to do the same. Truly, saving lives is the best way to celebrate life.

May his example encourage more people to donate blood and help ensure that no one is left waiting in times of need.
