Have you noticed your child’s feet always “looking for something to do?” 👀
That constant movement isn’t random: it can be their way of seeking sensory input to stay regulated and focused.
At AllWays Therapy, we don’t automatically suggest “quiet feet,” instead we ask
** Does movement actually help this child learn? **
Our Occupational Therapists assess each child’s sensory profile to understand:
~ What kind of movement their body is asking for
~ When they need it most
~ How it impacts their attention, regulation, and participation
Because for many children, movement is not a distraction. It’s a strategy.
Not everyone just has a soccer table at home 🤪 so what can you during tabletop activities?
- Feet bouncing on a small ball (or even a rolled towel!)
- Sitting on a slightly wobbly cushion
- Short “movement breaks” between tasks
- Pushing/pulling heavy objects before seated work
Come and learn more with us, where kids are moving, thinking, coordinating, and connecting all at once.
Play IS therapy. Movement IS learning.
