The magic of PLAY ❤️

An animal mask-making activity was conducted for a post-operative pediatric cardiac patient with both parents actively involved.

This therapeutic play supported emotional expression, reduced post-surgical stress and strengthened parent–child bonding. Creating a joyful and safe space for healing.

Because when a child heals, the family heals too.

Creating Santa Claus paper dolls with our post-op cardiac patients and their moms reminds us that play is powerful medicine.
Through simple paper play, children express emotions, build confidence, improve fine motor skills and feel safe and happy even in recovery.

Play therapy in action , healing hearts one smile at a time ☺️

🎃👻 Halloween Gift Giving 2025 👻🎃

This year’s Halloween became extra heartwarming for our pediatric in-patients at the Philippine Heart Center 💖

The PediaCare Section of the Department of Pediatric Cardiology prepared sweet treats and surprises for all our admitted kids. But the biggest surprise came from the amazing heroes of the 501st Legion Philippines Garrison who came not just to give goodies, but to spend time, share laughter, and bring smiles to every child (and parent!) in the wards.

Thank you for filling our halls with joy and imagination. Truly, the Force of kindness was strong that day! 💜
