Formal start of the program will be on July 1, 2025.

We'll be tackling around 5 subjects in July.

However, even if you enrol after August 1, 2025, you can still catch up as we've prepared for a scenario where students would be able to prepare for the med boards only after internship is done by Aug 1, 2025. We do recommend you enrol as soon as possible in order to begin your preparation for the med boards the optimal way.

Recommended Schedule for WEEK 2: MEDICAL SCHOOL BOOTCAMPLearn into the four major subjects of your first year with intensive lectures and practice exams:
1. Physiology: 8 hours of in-depth learning.
2. Histology: 3 hours of focused study.
3. Biochemistry: 8 hours of comprehensive lectures.
4. Anatomy: 9 hours of detailed instruction.

Important Announcements for the Topnotch Premium October 2025 Orientation (refer also to the infographic):

1. July 2, 2025, 7pm at the Topnotch Online Portal: Formal Orientation to the Topnotch Program (Orientation Part 1)

2. July 3, 2025, 7pm at the Topnotch Online Portal: Orientation to the Rules and Regulations, Mother Goose and the Topnotch Mentoring Program (Orientation Part 2)

3. For July 2 and 3, warm up by watching the Physio Main Video Module 1 while reading the main handout module 1 at the same time. Micro videos about to be released soon also for those who want to study in advance (there's a different allocated sked for micro).

DEAR TOPNOTCH FRIENDS (OCTOBER 2025 BATCH)

Some important announcements:
1. The first thing you have to do, after getting your access to the Topnotch Online Portal, is to download and read cover-to-cover, the Topnotch Primer. This would rapidly orient you on the Topnotch System, and how to maximize the experience. Please read the Topnotch Primer before July 1, 2025
2. Your Surgery, Legal Med and Micro Main Handouts updated for October 2025 have already been uploaded at the Topnotch Online Portal. Have them printed , and if you prefer, ring bound. For ring-binding, see our instructions on “right-handed ring-binding” - where the printed page is on the left, and the blank pages (for note taking) would be on the right. View the Topnotch Primer for further instructions.
3. Kindly read our previous post regarding the Topnotch Pathways A,B,C - this would help adjust your preparation for the med boards during internship depending on the workload that you have - we recommend Topnotch Pathway A if you’re done with internship, Pathway C if July 1-31, 2025 internship workload is too toxic, and Pathway B for those in between. The Pathways are also discussed in the Topnotch Primer.
4. You will be organized into Viber MG Groups by your Mother Goose from June 25-26, 2025. Your Mother goose will serve as your class advisor, first mentor and technical support. They are licensed MDs who will guide you from start to finish. Download the viber app, and accept the invite from them.
5. You can take the Topnotch Diagnostic Exam (where you will benchmarked again October 2025 examinees), would be from July 1, 2025 8am - July 6, 2025, 1pm. We recommend you allot a straight 5 hours for this - two 2-hour blocks, with 1 hour break in between and mimic board exam conditions - pencil, timer, uniform. We will release the answer key and discussion video by July 3, 5pm. We will release the raw scores, percentile rank and color grades by July 7, 2025.
6. As a warm-up to the Topnotch System - we would release the first (out of 8 modules) of the Physiology Main Handout and Main Lecture video. This is around 4 hours in total. Download this Physio Main Handout - and watch the lecture video while utilizing the main handout. This is to orient you to the “sabay” technique of using the main handout and video together. Note that downloading and using the physio main handout and video is optional at this point - we would release the entire physio handout and video once it’s ready by August 2025 (currently still shooting the rest of the physio lecture videos and updating the rest of the main handout). You may opt to print Physio Modules 2-8 by then.
7. Attend the Formal Orientation via zoom/topnotch portal on July 2, 2025. Attend All the synchronous sessions. It’s important that we’re able to establish a culture of a supportive community/peer support with all of you - and the MG viber threads, and the synchronous sessions are strategies to do that. Pagtulungan natin. Don’t be a lone wolf sa boards.
8. I promise to do everything to give you the best possible chance to pass the med boards in an honest and guided way. We will be there for you. Concentrate on the process, and enjoy learning.
