𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐂𝐈𝐌

through the leadership of Director General Ma. Teresa C. Iñigo,MD, FPCAM, CESE convened the PITAHC Review Oversight Committee on Traditional, Complementary, and Integrative Medicine (PRO-TCIM)—comprising representatives from government agencies such as the FDA, DTI, DILG, DOJ and DOT, alongside accredited TCIM modality representatives, and TCIM organizations —convened on January 20 and 22, 2026.

The meeting focused on the establishment of mechanisms for filing complaints, referrals and other concerns related to TCIM.

This initiative underscores PITAHC’s commitment to transparency, public protection, and the advancement of safe and well-regulated TCIM practices in the Philippines.
