For AUTISM AWARENESS

Ang sabi po ay walang nagiisang genotype na nagcacause ng autism kasi po more than 200+ genetic variants ang nakita sa research na magkakamuka sa mga may autism.

Hindi po sinabi na "hindi genetics ang autism".

Ang autism po ay polygenetics. Meaning genetics plus epigenetics (effects of environmental factors) ang nakikitang cause ng autism kaya sya spectrum.

Also traits po ay genetics na namamana ng mga anak sa magulang. Pag may delays na bunga ng polygenetic factors sa bata, doon nagkakaroon ng disorder.

Ang autism po ay tawag sa isang developmental delay disorder na pwedeng pang maayos.

Lifetime condition sya dahil sa genetic markers nia. Pero ndi lifetime yung nararanasan nia kasi pwede po itong maagapan o maiayos pa.

Ano ang lifetime na sinasabi nila?
Yung genetic markers po. Halimbawa, ung mthfr genes nia ay may variants meaning marumi ang genes nia which is isa ito sa typical na nakikita sa mga may autism. Pag may variants ang mthfr gene ng isang bata, ndi nakakapag absorb ng active folate ng maaus ang brain which is one leading cause ng speech or communication problem sa bata. Yoon ang lifetime condition.

Pero ndi lifetime na may speech problem sya kung gagawin mo ang workaround which is mag take sya ng active folate na agad (folinic acid or methylfolate para ibypass ung mthfr genes).

Isa lang yan sa halimbawa. Marami pang genes na sakop ang autism. At hindi lahat ay magkakamuka.

Also, there is harm sa pagsasabing may autism ka nang dahil lang sa may traits ka ng autism.

Madidiagnose ang isang tao ng autism kapag lumagpas sya sa criteria of support and functionality. Meaning, kung ung traits mo ay makakasagabal na sa buhay at nangangailangan na ng tulong, doon plang papasok na nsa autism spectrum ka.

Pero kapag natrain ka which is by therapy, pag naayos ung inflammation sa katawan mo, magfufunction ka ng maayos at walang tulong na kailangan, then wala ka ng diagnosis of Autism. Traits na lang ang natitira sayo.
