๐ Sinitis is an inflammation of the mucous membrane lining the sinuses, leading to swelling and pain. The disease can occur in groups of sinuses such as maxillary sinuses, ethmoid sinuses, frontal sinuses and sphenoid sinuses. Depending on the duration of inflammation, the disease is divided into the following main types
๐Acute sinusitis: The illness comes on suddenly and lasts no more than 10-14 days. Symptoms of the disease are similar to those of a common cold. For example, facial pain, runny or stuffy nose, etc.
Subacute sinusitis: The duration of the disease lasts from 4 to 8 weeks
๐ถChronic sinusitis: Symptoms persist for more than 8 weeks
Recurrent sinusitis: The disease appears after 1 year of treatment
