This patient with presenile cataracts came in fed up with harsh indoor lights and bright mornings. Photochromics didnโt help them, so we used a frame that already had a clipโon polarized shield and upgraded the plano OU lenses with Apollo Honeycomb coating โ a simple, noninvasive fix thatโs usable before and after surgery.
๐What we fitted:
Eyeframe with clipโon polarized shield; no grade lenses but has Apollo Lens Philippines Honeycomb coating.
๐Why honeycomb coating is the star
Dense honeycomb of tiny pinholes narrows blur, softens scattered indoor light, and boosts contrast so reading and screens feel clearer.
๐How it works with the clipโon:
polarized lens removes reflected glare; honeycomb reduces leftover stray light and tightens focus โ two complimentary layers of glare control. Especially on the mornings.
๐Patient wins:
Mornings are less painful; less squinting for reading and screens; one pair of glasses to wear now and keep after surgery.
Not a cure for cataracts, but a comfy, practical way to make mornings usable again. โ๏ธ๐๐
