ACEBEDO OPTICAL was established in 1928 by FELIX B. ACEBEDO, the founder with a mission “To deliver the best optical services especially to the poor which comprises the vast majority of the Filipino people and to provide low-priced but quality eyewear”. His willingness to serve the huge majority of the poor people, he bravely put up a small optical shop in Rizal Avenue, Manila, the busiest commercial place back then. He builds a nationwide chain of clinics to give sight to even the poorest of Filipinos. He offered the products at lower prices but with quality assurance. Many times, he rendered “Service Gratis” (gratis means without payment).
From being a single proprietorship for many years, his passion to business grew even more. Branches were opened in different parts of the country; in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
Today as we celebrate our 97TH ANNIVERSARY we thank our loyal patrons who have trusted us to be their optical provider since 1928. Here’s to many more years of quality yet affordable eyewear and professional service! Thank you for being a part of our journey.
