SAFELAB BOD in Action: Learning Through Experience

The SAFELAB Board of Directors recently took part in observing the conduct of our Cooperative’s General Assembly, a vital gathering where members come together to exercise their rights, make key decisions, and strengthen our shared vision.

This experience is more than just observation—it is a living classroom of leadership and cooperative governance. By witnessing firsthand how transparency, accountability, and democratic participation are practiced, our young leaders gain deeper understanding of what it truly means to be part of a cooperative.

This initiative reflects our commitment to building future-ready cooperative leaders—grounded in values, empowered with knowledge, and inspired to serve.

The Most Holy Rosary Coop Savers and Friendly Entrepreneur Lab Coop - SAFE LAB and Aflatoun successfully conducted an Aflatoun Parents’ Orientation at Deped Tayo Macabud National High School on February 6, 2026 during the Q3 Releasing of Class Cards.
Parents gained valuable insights into the program’s impact on financial literacy, social responsibility, and child empowerment.
We thank Sir Jayk Jayk Airan and Sir Reyster Peñaredondo, representatives from the Most Holy Rosary Multi-Purpose Cooperative, for a meaningful discussion about this.

Our Aflatoun partner school, Wawa National High School, proudly concluded its Umbrella Design Contest with the inspiring themes:
“Cooperative Builds a Better World” and
“Year of International Peace and Trust.”

Through this creative activity, learners showcased their artistic talents while promoting the values of cooperation, peace, and global unity — essential lessons in building a better and more harmonious world.
