Kasiglahan SHS ABM students just wrapped up a powerful Financial Literacy Seminar with the theme “Start Smart: Student Saving Account Drive.”

Big thanks to our CYP Jayk Jayk Airan facilated the talk and ABM Teacher Sir Richard Hidalgo for guiding our students toward financial independence!

Our dedicated members is taking the first step in building a greener tomorrow, preparing the land for planting as part of the Plant A Seed Program of NATCCO Network.

This stage may seem simple, but it’s the foundation of growth, reminding us that every great harvest begins with careful preparation, patience, and commitment.

Through this program, we not only plant seeds in the soil, but also hope in our communities, for sustainability, food security, and a brighter, healthier environment for future generations.

Teaching Saving Habits at School

One of the most valuable life skills we can pass on to children is the habit of saving. Schools play a vital role in shaping not only academic excellence but also practical financial skills that prepare students for the future.

That’s why the school’s initiative to integrate Aflatoun Saving into its programs is such a powerful step forward. By setting up a dedicated saving booth on campus, the school is giving students a hands-on opportunity to practice financial discipline, set personal goals, and understand the value of money management from an early age.
