The𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗖𝗗𝗔) successfully hosted an engaging session for Global Money Week 2025, highlighting the importance of financial literacy among young savers.

𝗦𝗔𝗙𝗘𝗟𝗔𝗕 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗵 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗮 𝗠. 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝘇 shared her journey as a young saver, emphasizing how financial education shapes responsible decision-making.

𝗦𝗔𝗙𝗘𝗟𝗔𝗕 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗔𝗿𝘂𝗯𝗮 participated in the Q&A session, provides her techniques and insights towards financial empowerment.

Key topics included economic and financial learning, financial literacy rates in the Philippines ( 25% of the total population 2015 data), and the Financial Consumers Act (RA 11765). Discussions also covered cooperative duties, fair treatment of members, transparency in financial transactions, data privacy, product design, and consumer assistance. Additionally, the importance of financial policies, rule-making, market monitoring, and enforcement was highlighted.

A big salute to our youth leaders and CDA for championing financial literacy! Together, we are building a future of financially empowered individuals.
